Did You Know?

Our union was established in 1970 when the library employees of Sir George Williams University unionized to become NUSGWUE (National Union of Sir George Williams University’s Employees). By the end of the 1990’s, NUSGWUE had become CULEU. At the Loyola campus, the Vanier Library Association of Non-Professional Employees (VLANPE) also took the name CULEU. In 2007, the two groups merged into the CULEU that we know today.
